GREETINGS AND WELCOME!

I’m Pastor Randy Schoemann the called and ordained shepherd of the flock here at St. John Lutheran Church.  Our congregation has a rich history of faithfulness to God’s Word and a willingness to grow in it, train our children with it, and reach out with it to thirsty souls who don’t yet trust in Jesus for forgiveness and life.  We are members of the 2.5 million member Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, headquartered in St. Louis , Missouri .  We are also aligned with the South Wisconsin District.  Since 1855 the people of our church have valued the principles of the Bible and the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the source and norm for Christian faith and life.  We support a Christian Day School for children of our congregation and for those wishing a strongly Christ-like education for their offspring. 

 We worship presently on Sunday at 10am and Wednesday at 7pm.  During the school year we have Sunday School and Bible Class at 8:45am and year round we have a Men’s Breakfast Bible Study on Thursdays at 6:30am .  We likewise have a Women’s group called LWML.  It stands for Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.  Every lady of the fellowship is encouraged and welcomed to join us.  We also have a Youth Group for teens, a Men’s Club, and a Diner’s Club.  All of these organizations center on Christian love and service. 

  St. John wishes to be a warm and welcoming community of believers and we know we have our faults and weaknesses.  We’re not perfect and we realize you are not either. But, we are forgiven, in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  In God’s eyes we are perfect thru faith in God’s own solution to our sinfulness and rebellion.  The Bible teaches that purely by His grace He brings people to faith through Holy Baptism and the powerful words of the Gospel.  He also gives us the Lord’s Supper to celebrate His redemption of our souls and strengthen us in Godly living along with the Bible’s teachings. 

 Our Christian Day School is available to nurture children in the Christian faith and their love for Jesus.  This translates into a purpose for living and a lifetime of service to our Savior and the people of His world.  Please speak to our Principal, Mr. Brad Jentsch , to make arrangements to learn more.  We have wonderful teachers who love their students like Jesus loved the little children.  Christian Education doesn’t really cost, it pays!  We’re preparing precious souls for heaven.  No work on earth is more important.
